Tara Pitt
Choreographer Tara Pitt
Tara Pitt has worked with FVHS Choirs since 2000 as a producer, director, and choreographer. She has produced and choreographed for theaters and schools across LA and Orange County, with credits including Mamma Mia, Sister Act, Into the Woods, West Side Story, and Godspell. She also composed the acclaimed musicals Natalie Portman The Musical! and Christian Bale The Musical, both of which debuted in LA. An award-winning performer, Tara has appeared on stages throughout Southern California, including the Disneyland Resort (AGVA).
Daniel Querry
Guitar & Vocal Coach Daniel Querry
A 2008 FVHS alumnus and Troubadours veteran, Daniel traveled with the choir on international tours through Europe and competed state-wide as a solo vocalist. Recipient of the Vocal Music Coronet Award, he continued teaching voice, piano, guitar, and drums throughout Orange County. He works weekly with FVHS students and currently serves as Director of Music at Living Waters Church in Fountain Valley.
Tricia Tran
Vocal Coach Tricia Tran
Tricia's choral journey began as a 6th grader in the FVMS Singers under Kevin Tison. As a sophomore at FVHS, she won the Voice of Fountain Valley competition, and later served as student director and Coronet Award recipient. She graduated from CSU Fullerton's School of Music in 2022 and has since coached at Bee Music School — where she was recently promoted to head of the dance and vocal department — and Soundscape Music Studios. FVHS Class of 2018.
Elizabeth Salvati
Vocal Coach Elizabeth (Choate) Salvati
A graduate of California Baptist University with a B.A. in Music, Elizabeth specializes in choral and vocal technique. She previously served as head of voice at the Pacific Coast Conservatory in Riverside and now teaches at Christian Arts and Theater in Corona. She was recently invited to sing solo soprano on the indie film The Tempest. You can find her performing at wineries, churches, and coffee shops across Southern California. FVHS Class of 2016.
Virginia Douglas
Vocal Coach / Teaching Assistant Virginia Douglas
A dynamic soprano, Virginia performed with Opera UCLA as Dido in Dido and Aeneas (2023) and premiered the role of Maria Maladetto in the world premiere of Richard Danielpour's The Grand Hotel Tartarus (2024). She made her Long Beach Opera debut in 2025. A passionate advocate for new music, Virginia has premiered works at the Mostly Modern Festival and Wintergreen Festival, and is an active recitalist exploring Scandinavian and contemporary American art songs.
Leah Byers
Vocal Coach Leah (Gates) Byers
Leah earned her B.A. in General Music with a focus in voice from Vanguard University, where she also teaches private voice lessons. Her musical journey began with seven years in the FVHS Vocal Music Program, and she continues to sing in choir today. Since 2021, she has built her own private studio of students ranging from beginners to advanced singers, combining technique with creativity and expression. FVHS Class of 2016.
Christopher Walters
Vocal Coach / Teaching Assistant Christopher Walters
Baritone Christopher Walters performs regularly with Pacific Opera Project and Lyric Opera of Orange County. The 2025–26 season features his debut as Gianni Schicchi with Genesis Opera Theatre and his chorus debut with San Diego Opera in Carmen. Past highlights include Schoenberg's Gurre-Lieder with the LA Philharmonic and Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the San Diego Symphony. He holds his B.M. from CSU Long Beach.
Jordan Reynolds
Vocal Coach / Songwriting Coach Jordan Reynolds
A Long Beach-based folk/pop singer-songwriter and session singer, Jordan has won multiple awards including Best Male Artist at the 2025 SIMI Music Video Festival and 1st place in the 2023 ASCAP Green Theme Contest. His music has been featured on Disney, Hulu, and Spotify editorial playlists. He holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from BYU and an M.M. in Vocal Pedagogy from New England Conservatory. FVHS Class of 2010.
Morgan Parker
Vocal Coach / Teaching Assistant Morgan Parker
A FVHS alum (Class of 2016) who served as choir board president his senior year, Morgan now serves as assistant conductor of Vocal Affinity and is a longtime member of Millennial Choirs and Orchestras. A versatile performer, he has portrayed Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and earned acclaim as Thomas in Rob Gardner's Lamb of God at the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara.
John Arlotti
Vocal Coach John Arlotti
A classically trained musician with a deep passion for opera, John has spent over four years developing his vocal technique and performance skills, with particular love for Rigoletto, Macbeth, and Pagliacci. He also plays piano and cello. John is completing his B.A. in Communication at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California.
